Too many times I have heard people say that they want to learn to dive but that it takes way too much time. Extensive classes and pool training sessions are the way of the past. At Adventure Scuba we are a PADI 5 Star Dive Center and offer the training for recreational scuba certification as an Open Water Diver as a home study program. What that means is the student spends less time with us in the classroom and more time learning the skills to be a safe and confident diver. With a home study course you learn at your own pace, when you want, where you want. After reading the required material and viewing either the video or DVD you are ready to take the academic review and complete the classroom training. From there we go to the pool and teach you the skills of diving in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Training is offered either over two (2) week nights from 6-10pm or in ONE (1) day on Saturday from 11am to 8pm. The PADI program is performanced based and not time based and with only a 2-1 student/instructor ratio, Adventure Scuba offers its students a quick, self paced and fun training course.
